Apple Picking

On Saturday, we went apple picking! We have never gone to pick apples. We went to an orchard we have never been before too; Steffen Orchard in Conway Springs. It is our new favorite orchard! The kids had a lot of fun picking, eating, and just running around the orchard!

We got a whole box full of apples (a little over 18 pounds) for about $13.00. The apples were 69 cents a pound!! They were yummy too! We also bought a gallon of homemade apple cider for only $5.00! The kids really liked it!

On Sunday, I made an apple pie: 

And baked cinnamon apples!

I think picking apples will be a new fall tradition at our house!
