We decided that one of the things that we wanted to do on our Summer Fun List was to have an ice cream party. I planned an art project, an ice cream theme game, and of course, ice cream!! We didn't want to keep all of this fun to ourselves, so we invited the kids' cousins over!
The art project was painting ice cream cones.
Then we played pin the cherry on the ice cream!
Last, but not least, it was time for the goodies!! Cupcake ice cream cones:
Lots of toppings:
Including these cute ice cream shaped marshmallows!
They could use a regular bowl, a waffle bowl, or cones:
And we couldn't have ice cream sundaes without syrups. (and whipped cream, which was in the fridge when I took these pics.)
We had chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry ice cream and Rachel made homemade peanut butter ice cream!
All the kids (and the adults) had fun making their ice cream just the way they wanted it!
It was a yummy afternoon!
