St. Maarten 2016 (Last one!)

After Lily's birthday, we kind of just fell into a pattern of just hanging out at the beach. :0) One day we played Bingo too!

Jeff & I enjoyed some alone time walking on the beach one night.

One day, Jeff & the boys rode the jet skis!

Lily didn't want to, so she just built sandcastles. :0)

We enjoyed the Sunset Cruise so much, that we went again the second week. This time, Jeff, Zach, and Riley got to hoist the sail & Lily & Riley got to help steer the boat!

Last day on the beach. :0(

We had time to eat lunch before our flight on our last day, so we ate at the restaurant by the airport where you can watch the planes fly in!

Then we were on our way home! It was a great vacation!!

St. Maarten 2016 (part 2)

Every time we have gone to St. Maarten, we have gone on the Sunset Cruise. We love it! While we waited for the cruise to start, Lily tried on different sun hats. :0)

On the way back to the condo, we saw this guy crawling across the street:

Jeff & I liked getting the kids all settled watching a movie, or reading, or playing on their electronics, then heading out to the deck and just enjoying the peacefulness. :0)

But a few times, the kids talked us into letting them swim at night!

On Saturday, we headed to our next condo, which is the one we usually stay at. We had to leave our first condo, before we could get into the next condo, so we just headed to the beach at the second condo and swam while we waited for our room to be ready.

These lizards are all over the place. The kids kept naming the ones they saw. :0)

On Sunday night, we all went out to celebrate Jeff's and my 17th anniversary.

Then Monday started out with Lily opening her presents for her 9th birthday!

We went to the beach again and then had grilled cheese for lunch. (Lily's favorite)

After lunch, we went to eat gelato!

The gelato place had a carousel!

There was a steel drum band and a BBQ buffet at the condo that night, so we enjoyed that!

Lily had picked out a cherry cheesecake at the store, so we had "Cake By The Ocean" like Lily wanted. :0)

I'd say she had a pretty good birthday! :0)
