Low Carb Chocolate Raspberry Shakes

Lily got this book from the school library:


She picked this recipe to make from it:


It called for vanilla ice cream & cocoa powder, but Lily wanted me to be able to eat it too, so we used Carb Smart chocolate ice cream instead. :0) We also needed milk and raspberries (which a low carb and a natural sugar, which is better than processed sugar).


Lily added 1 cup raspberries:


2/3 cup milk:


and 1 cup (we estimated & probably went over a cup.) of ice cream:



Then we turned the blender on!


Lily garnished the shakes with the extra raspberries:



These were yummy!! They weren't super sweet, and they were a good low carb dessert. :0)


Willow got pieces of a raspberry for her dessert too:
