Dress-Up Part 2
A few weeks ago, Lily decided it would be funny to dress my foot up as a ballerina. I even posted pictures about it. Well, a few nights ago, she decided to do it again.....only this time, she did it to Jeff's foot:
Silly girl! Jeff let her do it, so she ran upstairs to get more things to dress his foot up with. She obviously wanted to see what she could get away with, because she brought lip gloss down:

Happy Birthday Baby Lamb
Lily's favorite toy is a stuffed lamb she calls Baby Lamb. (Formerly known as Sheepy.) She has had Baby Lamb since she was born. That poor lamb is drug all over the place, slept with, thrown around, hugged tightly, and thoroughly loved.
Yesterday was Baby Lamb's Birthday. I know this because Lily told me it was. I just happened to have baked some blueberry muffins and Ares happened to be over playing, so we had an impromptu party.
We put a candle in a muffin and sang Happy Birthday to Baby Lamb.
Then Lily blew out the candle.
It is so funny that she wanted to do this, because I remember Zach wanting to do the same thing for his favorite toy, Dog-Dog. (My kids are super imaginative about naming their toys.) ;0) Zach wanted to have parties for Dog-Dog all of the time....I think it had more to do with getting cookies, cupcakes, or muffins and blowing out a candle than it had to do with Dog-Dog though.

After we were done, Ares decided that he wasn't going to miss out on Birthday fun. (They usually share a birthday party anyway...why not share their toys' birthday too??) He decided that it was going to be the Joker's Birthday.

Build-A-Bear
Apparently our children are deprived. They've never been to Build-A-Bear. Poor things...... ;0) My sister Kathleen decided that Lily needed to go there, so she got her a gift card for her Birthday. Jeff & I took her there last night (without the boys...she was so excited to have a "Mommy/Daddy date"). She had what she wanted all planned out in her head before we even left the house! I just hoped they actually had what she wanted.First, she picked out a lamb. I'm glad they had one of those. So far so good.
Then she got to go over to stuff her lamb.
She also go to pick out a heart:
And put it inside:
Then she gave it a "bath".
Then the moment she had been waiting for; picking out her outfit!!! She of course picked out the shoes first. (I know, that is so shocking...)
Lily picked out cute pink ballet slippers for all four feet of her lamb. She knew she wanted a tutu of some kind, but there were SO many to choose from!!
She finally settled on this cute one:
It was hard since they had so many cute outfits. This was just one wall:
Jeff wanted her to pick one of these. ;0)While Baby Lamb (that's the lamb's name, even though she already has a baby lamb that she has had since she was born, and sleeps with, and drags around the house.....) was getting dressed, Lily remembered that she wanted a princess crown for her lamb.
I knew that this outfit was starting to add up quickly, but Lily knows how to handle her Daddy. (Even though he won't admit it.) So, he found a pink tiara for Baby Lamb, since that's what Lily had envisioned before we got to the store. Such a good Daddy. :0)

After she was dressed, Lily got to make her birth certificate.

Lily was so excited to show her to Zach & Riley. She played and played with her when we got home and then slept with her. She also "introduced" her to "old" Baby Lamb and said that they liked being friends. Too cute!
She sure does love this new lamb!! She also wants to go back and do it again. I am sure this won't be the last time. =)

Lily's New Ride
Lily had graduated from the little "baby" bike (as she was calling it) and had moved up to the bigger bike with training wheels.
The only problem (to her) was that the next bike was distinctly a boy bike.
Lily is a girly-girl, and she was not fond of riding the boy bike.
She had to prove to us that she could pedal the bigger bike, though before she could have a new girl bike.
Well, she had gotten pretty good on Riley's old bike, so we went to the store to pick out a new bike.
We let her pick it out herself.
She went full on girly-girl.
I don't think there was a girlier bike there!
Pink: check. Princesses: check. Streamers: check. Princess purse on the front: check. Cute little bell: check. Hearts on the wheels: check. Flower pedals: check

She was a little afraid at first because she was higher off of the ground, but then she got the hang of it!

Lily's Favorite Things About Spring
Lily & I went on a walk yesterday.
While we were walking, I asked her to show me her favorite things about Spring.
The first one was flowers:
Jumping in puddles quickly followed the flowers.
What's better than jumping in a puddle??
Wishing Puffs are also a favorite.
(Not of Daddy's though....we can't blow these in our own yard...) ;0)
She also said she loves green leaves....
and green grass!
She spotted a butterfly and said that she also liked to see those in the Spring.
We found "helicopters" and she threw several in the air, watching them spin down to the ground.
She had mentioned birds to begin with, but this was the first one I could take a picture of...
she kept scaring them away when she shouted, "BIRDIE!!!!!" :0)
Those are all of the things that Lily likes about Spring.

Ponies
Lily has a lot of My Little Ponies.
A lot.
She has ponies of all colors and sizes.
She LOVES them.
Recently, I have noticed ponies in odd places.
I notice this at least once a day.
I thought it was funny.
So, I started taking pictures of where Lily's ponies were throughout the house.
I found her ponies on the blinds in the family room one day:
(There is a window in the dining room where the princesses hang out.....)

They must like it there.
And yes, it is always the same three ponies.
