Christmas Eve

Our Christmas Eve started out the way it does every year; we get dressed up, take family pictures, and then head to Christmas Mass.

I had to throw this one of Lily in her coat, because I thought she was just too cute in it. :0)

This year, we decided to start a new tradition. They got to open one present that was to all of them:

In the box was new jammies for each of them, a "fancy" hot chocolate package for each, and a new Christmas movie for them to watch. They really liked this new surprise!

After the movie, we set out cookies & milk for Santa and read Twas the Night Before Christmas.

Then it was off to bed for a good night sleep before Christmas day!

Elfie's Last Week

Elfie was quite adventurous the last week he was at our house. Here is what he was up to:

Shaving:

Writing messages in flour:

Pretending to be Batman:

Taking Princess Tiana to the "Drive-In":

Dressing up with some of his new Princess friends:

Writing on the bathroom mirror:
(With toothpaste...naughty Elfie!)

Doing experiments:
(Zach helped Elfie with this one...)

Playing Go Fish with a My Little Pony:

Getting into some chocolate:

And having a tea party:

During the day, he always hid somewhere crazy. Here is where he hid during his last week:

On Christmas Eve morning, he had a note saying that he had to go back to the North Pole that night for good. He wanted to let the kids know that he had fun watching them, and to make sure they continued to be good. :0)

Logan Family Christmas

Yesterday, we had our Logan Family Christmas! The first thing the kids did was put on a concert for us. They got Christmas headbands on and sang a few carols for us!

Then it was time to open presents! The kids (and Jeff & I) received a lot of really nice things. Thank you everyone!!

After presents, the kids all made gingerbread houses! They had fun piling on the frosting & candies!

(I didn't get a picture of William) :0(
It was a fun day spending time with each other!!

School Concerts & Parties

Last Tuesday, the kids had their school Christmas Concert. I put hot rollers in Lily's hair to make her hair all curly. She said she looked like a princess when her hair was all done. :0)

When the kids all came over to the church, I went over to take pictures of them.

Lily & her BFF Charlie wanted a picture together:

I didn't get a picture of Zach before because his class was clear on the other side of church. :0(
The Kindergarten was first. They were all so enthusiastic about their songs! They were so cute!
(These pictures are terrible, by the way. The church is a horrible place to take pictures.)

Riley was more interested in looking at us than he was singing his songs. He is such a crack up!

When it was the 4th grade's turn, Zach got to sing with a quartet. (the other 3 are at another microphone). He did GREAT!

All of the kids did great! It was another successful concert!
On Thursday, they had their school classroom parties for Christmas. I am Lily's Room Parent, so I was in her class most of the time. Santa always makes an appearance & hands out candy to the kids!

The Kindergartners were all in their PJ's because they had a Polar Express Day where they read the book, had Hot Chocolate, did Polar Express activities, and watched the movie!
This is Lily doing her craft for the party:

Towards the end of the party, I snuck over to Riley & Zach's classes to see how they were doing. They were having a lot of fun in their classrooms!

After the parties, their Christmas Break officially started! So far we have watched Christmas movies, made Christmas treats & crafts, and read Christmas books. It was been a fun break so far! =)
