Amy and Sam's Wedding

My baby sister, Amy got married to my new brother-in-law, Sam on Friday night. =)
It was a beautiful wedding!!
Amy was gorgeous & Sam was very handsome.
But, before all of that could happen, we had to do a few things.
First, on Thursday, we had to decorate the reception hall.
We made Sam change out lights that had burnt out.
Since he is so tall, we thought he was the perfect person for the job.

While Sam was doing that, Amy, our mom, and Amy's friends Theresa & Farihah set out tables, chairs, and put table clothes on all of the tables and decorated.

Then Sam & Amy practiced their first dance. :0)

On Thursday night we had a rehearsal, followed by a dinner at Sam's mom's house.

Friday morning, Amy, our mom, and our sister Kathleen, went back to the hall to put out these cute teacups with flowers in them. They went on all of the tables.

While Amy & I went to get our nails done, (and then to finish getting ready...) Mom & Kathleen finished setting up. (THANKS!!)

Finally it was time for the wedding!!

Don't they look fabulous?!?!

So happy!!

Dance "Recital"

Yesterday, Lily's dance teacher let all of the mommies in the studio to watch the kids dance.
Usually we can just watch through the glass.
Like this:

But then Ms. Gail let us come in so they could show off some of the dance moves they have learned over the last few months.

It was so fun to watch her get so excited to show off what she could do.

After applause from all of the mommies, they quickly changed ballets shoes for tap shoes.

Too cute!!

At the end, they always get into a little circle and do a cheer.

"We LOVE Dance!!"

I can't wait to see what else she learns.

Lily's Favorite Things About Spring

Lily & I went on a walk yesterday.
While we were walking, I asked her to show me her favorite things about Spring.
The first one was flowers:

Jumping in puddles quickly followed the flowers.

What's better than jumping in a puddle??

Wishing Puffs are also a favorite.

(Not of Daddy's though....we can't blow these in our own yard...) ;0)

She also said she loves green leaves....

and green grass!

She spotted a butterfly and said that she also liked to see those in the Spring.

We found "helicopters" and she threw several in the air, watching them spin down to the ground.

She had mentioned birds to begin with, but this was the first one I could take a picture of...

she kept scaring them away when she shouted, "BIRDIE!!!!!" :0)

Those are all of the things that Lily likes about Spring.

I like all those things too.

But my favorite thing, is taking a walk with this little girl:

Easter

Our Easter started bright and early at 7:00 am.
We actually had to wake our kids up though.
(We went to 8:00 mass and we wanted them to see what the Easter Bunny brought them before we left.)
The Easter Bunny left them a note this year telling them he got a present for all 3 of them this year and it told them what color eggs to collect for each one of them.
Zach's sleepy eyes read the letter:

Then they were off into the family room to see what they got!
Zach always looks for eggs first, and Lily & Riley always look what is in their basket first.
Every year it is the same.
So funny. =)

I wanted Lily to show me the egg she found, but all she cared about was her new Barbie....

Hunting for eggs!!

Can I eat this before church (even though I just had a ton of jelly beans)???

Please, Please???

Still a little on the sleepy side...

I don't have a mouth full of candy......

Then it was time to get ready for church.

Lily said she was a princess in this dress. =)

My handsome boys:

Then my family came over for a yummy lunch and an egg hunt afterwards!

We had such a great Easter (and weekend)!

I hope yours was equally blessed!!

Easter Fun

We started our Easter fun on Friday.
The boys had the day off of school, so they decided to do the crafts that Lily got to do a few days before.
They made a bunny windsock, and then they decorated paper eggs.
Only they made egg people instead of actually decorating them:

Then we went to the drive-in to see the movie Hop!

We love going to the drive-in.

Especially on $10.00 car load night!

This is before the movie:

And when the movie started:

Popcorn, candy, and drinks!

The movie was pretty cute and the kids had fun.

Then Saturday morning we dyed Easter eggs:

In the afternoon, we headed over to Grandma & Grandpa Logan's house for lunch and an egg hunt!

Now we are just waiting for the Easter Bunny to visit us!
