Zach had a long Birthday celebration lasted a looong time. it started the week before when he went with friends to Fire Shark Gaming. It's a gaming place where you can play video games while they are projected onto the floor and walls. The kids had a ton of fun!
We all went out to for ice cream afterwards.
Then on Thanksgiving, we had cake and presents with the Logan family.
The writing job on this cake, is why I usually don't decorate the kids' cakes....
On Zach's actual birthday, he opened his presents,
then Zach requested chicken & rice for dinner (his favorite!)
Later on, we had cookie cake.
He had a good birthday, and we now have a teenager in the house!
I can not believe we have a teenager!! It doesn't seem like that long ago when it was just Jeff & I, and we were patiently awaiting this little guy. He's not so little anymore! He is officially taller than I am, and growing everyday.
Zach, you are so funny at times, and so challenging at others. You certainly make parenting interesting!! :0) I could not imagine life without you and we love you SO much!! We are proud of you for being such a caring older brother and loving son.
Happy 13th Birthday!
Zach got a new pet last week. A hamster. First, he had to choose which fuzzy little hamster he wanted:
He finally settled on this little girl:
I had already bought the plastic ball and the cage and everything else she needs earlier in the day, so we out her in the ball to take her home.
On the way home he decided to call her Willow.
Lily and Riley love Willow too!
After all of the "loving" she was given, she settled in new home. :0)
