Spring Break Fun!

We had a pretty low key Spring Break, but we still had fun! We started it out by Zach having a friend over on Friday, then we were in the St. Patrick's Day Parade on Saturday, and on Sunday, Lily and I went to Disney on Ice. Monday, the boys had fun playing their computers at Jeff's office while Lily & I went to see Cinderella in the theatre! It was so good!
Then on Tuesday, while Lily was at a painting class, the boys & I went to All Star Sports where they played in the arcade. Zach won 1,000 tickets on one game! He was very excited!!

When they were all done, he had about 1,200 tickets and Ri had about 230. Zach was a super nice big brother and let Riley use some of his tickets to get the giant alien and then got more stuff for him and Lily.

We picked Lily up from her class to see her signing her name to this beautiful butterfly!

Then we grabbed half price shakes at Sonic!

On Wednesday, the kids took me to lunch for my Birthday at TJ Burger House and then we went to Sugar Sisters Bakery and they got cupcakes and sang happy birthday to me. :0)

Lily and I played with her Anna & Elsa dolls.....

and Zach put a party hat on Willow.

Then Zach & Ri serenaded me. ;0)

On Thursday, Lily & Riley's friends Averie & Britton came over for the day while their parents worked. Lily & Averie made cookies:

The boys built forts in the basement and shot darts at each other.

Then on Friday, Lily had a make-over sleep-over party (more to come on that later) while the boys and Jeff went back to All Star Sports and Orange Leaf.

On Sunday, we watched WSU beat KU at Jeff's parent's house.

So, that was our Spring Break!

Still Here.....

We're still here and I'm still blogging, I just haven't posted anything all week. I had all of these fun outdoor plans for the kids during Spring Break, but the rain decided to cancel those. So, we just kind of hung out. The kids played games, we baked some yummy treats, we went out to lunch with Jeff, drew pictures, and just relaxed. And I didn't take pictures of anything. On Friday, it finally stopped raining and we met Aunt Amy & Uncle Sam at the zoo. It was nice to be able to be outside and run around! Today we are enjoying the sunshine, watching Jeff with his new toy....
and I'm working on a fun new project for the backyard. (pictures to come soon.....hopefully) ;0)

I hope you enjoyed your Spring Break. We did, even though we didn't get to do most of the stuff we had planned. It was a nice break from the rush of school, meetings, and homework. =)

Spring Break!

Zach & Riley's Spring Break officially began Thursday afternoon. We started off their break with ice cream from DQ on the way home from school. On Saturday, we went to Chuck E. Cheese. I didn't bring my camera so I don't have any pictures, but that place is so crazy, I probably wouldn't have gotten any pictures anyway. Zach & Riley loved playing the games & Lily was actually old enough this time to play on the car rides. She loved them & when it would stop, she would point to the coin slot and say, "Pease! Pease!" (no, I did not misspell that, that's how she says it.) Today we went to Lunar Golf. There are black lights all over the ceiling and then there is glow in the dark tape all over the mini golf course. It is pretty cool and the boys love to go there. Here are some pictures:

These pictures aren't that good, but you can get a better idea of how the course looks.

After golfing, we had to ride the carousel since we were already there. The boys like to sit in the tea cup because you can make it spin around and around while the carousel is spinning. (Can you say nauseous?)

Lily rode on a horse. She thought it was a lot of fun!

I think this picture captures how much fun she was having. =)

When we came home, we played outside for a few hours. Since it was so nice & we were already outside, we decided to cook out & eat out on the patio.

Then we roasted marshmallows!

So, as you can imagine, the kids were all tired out by bedtime! (So were Jeff & I!)
